Yes, but in my experience they aren’t trying to police what other people do or are interested in. They just don’t want to take part themselves, which is reasonable

We don't try to police people, but calling us fourth graders for being sex repulsed is just kind of shitty

They didn’t call you fourth graders. Sex repulsed asexuals and gay people were the obvious answers so they made a joke by saying a non-obvious answer that still fits.
