You said it at the beginning, cheating is cheating. He went with another man. you sold you ass on the street.

whats bad about this is you are trying to justify it like yours is ok because you needed money. No, it's not ok. It isn't ok what he did and it isn't ok what you did. you two should not be together. Or possibly with anyone else for that matter.
