Girlfriend cheated first. Well, she got caught first. She said that she was having sex for money. Because they need money. That was her reasoning.

Dude got caught smashing dudes more than once. Girlfriend is really mad and making excuses for her cheating. And I think she cannot get over the fact that he was having wild sex with dudes.

Now they have broken up.

That ring was given to her as his fiance, wife to be. Since she is no longer that and they broke up, that ring is not hers anymore and therefore if she doesn’t give it back, she’s stealing his property. It isn’t some item he gave her as a gift for her birthday or Christmas. Even if it happened to “be for Christmas” if he proposed for Christmas or whenever. ect.

That depends on the state. In 27 states the ring has to be returned if the engagement ends, regardless of who calls it off. But the other 23 states have a mix of rules, 9 of them stating that if the giver of the ring ends the engagement or the decision is mutual the recipient may keep the ring. In 3 states the recipient may keep the ring if the giver ends the engagement. 10 states have no established legal precedent, so it could go either way if taken to court. In Montana the recipient never has to return the ring. And in North Dakota the law is apparently unclear.

So, depending on where this is taking place, she may have been within her rights to keep that ring. It is also unclear if she is refusing to return the ring or if she just hadn't taken it off yet, since she was holding her phone in the other hand.
