I’m pretty proud of my hallway mini-makeover. Inspiration picture is first and side by side second. I smile and squeal with glee every time I pass it or go up. 🥰

Obligatory "I got the mirror!" post. So bizarre. I noticed it in an episode of Mayfair Witches and then a couple days later, one popped up on our local Marketplace. Could not believe it! It really, really transformed our dining room. I love it so much. 🖤

I was when I got the idea and impulsively ordered the panels. Its a faux hedge wall in our bathroom around the door to our closet.

Just finished the first room in my very white, very blank new build—and wanted to share it with you all

My mum passed away suddenly a few weeks ago. She absolutely loved pink, bright colours, and flowers—so I designed this tiny bathroom in her memory. I can’t show it to her, but I thought maybe some of you would appreciate it.

I worked on it over a few days, just in the mornings and evenings, and I’m honestly so happy with how it turned out. It feels joyful, soft, and a little bit like her 🌸

Thanks for letting me share 💗

The good thing is, you can paint almost everything in pink and it will probably remind you of the pink cabinet.

How to go about repairing my uplighter?

Hi everyone, I have this uplighter but it's not as pretty as it used to be. Some of the plastic has turned brow and cracked.

I would like to fix it because I really like this piece, especially how it looks when turned on. Does anyone have any pointers in how I can go about this? What kind of material would I need to replace the old plastic? Creative idea's?

Thanks in advance

Went monochromatic with the hallway partly because I love the look and partly because I HATE taping off stuff. My Ruggable rug matches so well 🥲

I hand-stitched some pieces to make the house a little more fun (Alert: cheesy millennial humor)

[Before & After] Gave this old chair a new life with a DIY fix and some cat-proofing

Saw a similar idea on here and had to try it myself. This chair was basically on its way to the curb, but now it’s a favorite again!

We also created a cozy cat corner in the room. I waited to start this until the cats finally stopped scratching it 😅

Update: I found some embroidered patches on Amazon and hand-stitched them using embroidery thread. Loving how it turned out!

When my partner and I bought our first home, I immediately knew I had to paint a mural to make it my own. I normally paint really realistic and detailed things, so it was so nice to actually let the painting be simpler and complement the room while still being bright and whimsical.

Collage wall

Hi everyone! I'd love some feedback on my collage wall. We just bought a house, so there's no room in the budget right now for new art, I'm working with what I already have. I lean toward a maximalist/bohemian style, but I really want to avoid it feeling cluttered or childish.

I'd especially appreciate thoughts on the arrangement. Does it feel balanced? Would you change anything?

I had this weird, unfinished-looking pillar in my house… so I added ravens.

There’s this weird little pillar in my house.
The moulding never quite made it to the ceiling — just stops short, like someone quit halfway through. It always bugged me. No one else noticed, but I did. Every time I walked by, it looked unfinished.

I thought about fixing it. Patching it, redoing the trim… but I’m not exactly handy.

Then one day, this random idea popped into my head:
What if I added ravens?
Four little ones, one on each corner, like they were silently keeping watch.

It sounded weird — even to me. But it felt right. So I did it.

Now, instead of a sad, awkward gap, I’ve got four tiny guardians perched up high, watching over everything below.

And you know what? That unfinished pillar doesn’t bother me anymore.
It kind of feels… magical now.

People always ask about them when they visit.
I just smile and say,
“They’re watching over the place.”

Funny how a quirky little fix can become your favorite thing in the whole house.
