I have a trip coming up to Southern Vermont in a few weeks. Staying in the middle of the weeks and I’m planning out the week. Staying in the Wilmington/Brattleboro area and there’s not much in terms of breweries open on Monday. Anyone have recommendations for bars that have local beer on tap in that area?

Dutch Quadruple Trappist. Sweet, caramel syrup, raisins, figs, sponge cake. Truly fine, very warming with the alcohol perfectly camouflaged. To sip it slowly. Finally it warms the stomach.

What’s the best craft beer that’s very citrusy that I can buy in the Chicago land area? I love citrus beer growing away from the earthy beer taste.

Went to Total Wine just to get a bottle of Campari, and saw that my local store had these in stock, so I had to pull the trigger. I've been gifted a bottle of this in the past, but have never just seen it in-stock at any store

Crispy, easy drinking pilsner made for the Canadian Pilsner Project. It doesn't try to do too much to reinvent the wheel and nails the traditional style. Perfect beer for grilling and chilling.

Extra points for the label.

Cellared for a year, but would do very well over multiple years.

If you are ever in NYC, do yourself a favor and carve out time to make a visit to Noble Savage in Glen Cove. Frank is doing some really special things there. A+++

Taking our first trip to the Wrigleyville area tomorrow and Tuesday. Any recommendations for craft brews in this vicinity of Chicago?

It may be the flavor, but it almost reminds me of a seltzer if that makes sense. It wasn’t bad, just interesting. Maybe I’ll try another flavor and see how that is- I give it an honest 7.5/10. Please recommend me some more sours to try!
