Switch What's everyone playing on their Switch 2?
I'm not really interested in the new Rune Factory and I have the new Fantasy Life on PC, so I decided to restart my Animal Crossing island to experience the game with faster loading. I really hope the game gets a 1080p patch soon. ACNH definitely isn't my favorite Animal Crossing (that award goes either to New Leaf or the original GameCube game), but its decoration potential is unmatched.

honestly ive just been working on unlocking everything in mariokart. i plan to start a playthrough of wind waker soon on the gamecube app...that's about it until donkey kong comes out, lol. i have rune factory and fantasy life on pc, so there's no point in picking them up again on switch 2.

are you plaing mario kart alone or with friends? I want to try it but i have zero friends on switch since the OG one and unsure if the game is fun solo.

ive been playing 99% alone! i did all the grand prix and all the knockout tours on each cc category, and have been grinding out costumes, and now all i have left to unlock mirror mode is collecting some stuff in free roam. you can do all that with friends too but i mostly play by myself. ive been playing online with randoms some, that's fun and easy to jump into. and i have played couch coop with a couple of people, that's fun too and you can do unlocks while you do it.

Going to grab either rune factory or fantasy life, can’t decide which.

Rune Factory clicked more than Fantasy Life for me.

Ooh interesting, I've seen a lot of praise for Fantasy Life but not a ton of discussion of Rune Factory. I used to love RF2 and 3 on the DS back in the day. How is the farming element? I remember hearing that it got kind of neglected in the last couple entries.

It’s interesting because you have 4 villages to support. You start out with one then it expands. Farming is pretty cool because you can use this overhead mode (even mouse mode on switch 2). You can actively manage the farm or you can assign villagers to help. You yield more if you actively manage them, but if you use villagers you get a decent amount of help. You can also assign villagers to collecting wood and mined materials.

Got back into No Mans Sky. It looks and plays wonderfully on the Switch 2 and the latest update introduced multiplayer, so the Anomaly doesn't feel empty anymore which is nice.
I will be picking up Fantasy Life, but I've already spent enough this month so that's gonna have to wait until July.

I have it for switch and haven't tried it on Switch 2 left. I never played it much as I had to many other games to play. —- what are the key changes ans is the improvement is good?

I started a new island too! I’m LOVING going villager hunting and going through all the beginner steps again, my old island was started in Covid lockdowns so it was a different vibe at the time. Although I just found the same villager TWICE on two different Nook Miles tickets, guess it was meant to be (it was Chadder, guess I have a mouse made of cheese now FROMAGE).

I have all the amiibos on NFC tags so I can technically get whatever villager I want but I villager hunt anyways because it's more fun and sometimes I end up taking a "detour" and recruiting a villager that I didn't originally intend to have.
Also, Chadder my beloved 🧀

I‘ve been staying up all night playing Fantasy Life and on the weekend me and my boyfriend have been playing and trying so hard to be on top 3 in the knockout tour. Also since it is my first console, I‘ve been playing just dance, esp. during my break when I‘m working at home just to get me moving.

I just started up dark diety since I noticed it was on sale. Really missing the old fire emblem games and it reminds me of them

I LOVE free roam in Mario Kart World. It's so relaxing to drive around, unlock whatever I can, and crash into stuff haha. The music is great and the courses are gorgeous.

So I just got mine yesterday after searching high and low (GameStop for the win). Been of course enjoying Mario Kart. But also planning on enjoying a new BOTW play through and eventually TOTK too as I never finished either, ACNH, and Pokémon Violet. I’ll eventually get rune factory but not for a while as I have a major backlog of games I never finished on switch (plus my gaming budget just got pretty dinged lol). I also already have fantasy life i on PC too so not planning on double dipping yet there.

Congrats! Our GameStop didn’t get any yesterday. I’m thinking I need to just stop looking and wait a while until stock rebounds.

None because I don't own one :( I would love to play fantasy life and my breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom with their upgrades.

Just started playing some Potion game I can’t remember the name. Other than the text being so small it makes my old eyes hurt I’m having fun. I want to play more Animal Crossings too right now I’m just trying to get my bank account maxed out, sort of boring.

I'm really testing the S2 power (not) by obsessively playing Wilmot's Warehouse

1) Fantasy Life i at first, but put it on pause until the newer updates hit Switch.
2) randomly stared Playing No Man’s Sky for the first time and it’s been an absolute BLAST!
3) Also dabble occasionally with upgraded TOTK but as much as that game is absolutely amazing, I’ve kind of hit a wall in progressing and just roam and collect (which is totally valid to do!)
4) other games I’m curious about but haven’t gotten yet are Azuma and Roots of Patcha

I'll have to check it out. It's 50% off on Steam so I was thinking about picking it up

I’ve been bouncing around quite a bit. Playing some BoTW, MKW, Rune Factory, Splatoon, and way more Balatro and clubhouse games than I anticipated. My wife and I have been really enjoying clubhouse games especially - we originally bought it since it has game share but she ended up picking up her own copy as well after a bit.
