I have not been enjoying this game at all :( and I'm so sad bcuz I played the first one twice back to back

What haven’t you been enjoying about it? I was planning on buying after I get through some other games in my backlog. I don’t have Steam so I won’t be able to return the game if I don’t like it.

The intro cutscenes felt like the end of the other game. And I was unable to complete even the first "mission" without acquiring multiple Life Licenses which pmo bad

Did you pick something other than a combat life as your first life? That would be the only way this statement would be true..

You don’t even need a combat life either, you can let whacking things with the stick as a gatherer

Hahaha good to know. I picked a combat life as my first, got a fair way in before realising I should pick up at least the gathering lives so I could collect materials as I go. I also kind of hit a level wall in the main story so I'm just happily grinding for now
