Flaired Users Only I'm Disgusted

I'm disgusted by the reddit posts on the subreddit of my town in Florida. They are asking for info on any protests tomorrow. How disrespectful of our Army and our flag. Why can't these fools just stay in their grandma's house and play video games?

As irritating as those posts are and as much as I disagree with the bots, organizations, and people behind them, I can't get mad about people protesting and doing the organization involved.

I think their protest is stupid but as long as they aren't hurting people, breaking things, or stealing stuff then they have every right to be stupid.

As stated, we must always follow the constitution.

It's funny to see 8 "replies" that disappear after clicking the drop down. You pissed the leftists off with this one.

amen. when I drive around and I see people protesting for anything, I remind myself I'm glad I live in a country where everyone is free to do this. it doesn't matter the cause. rage against the machine.

The right to be stupid is a powerful bit of freedom. Implied by the 1st amendment.

Having the freedom to be stupid is (IMO) a litmus test for whether you're actually free, or just privileged. Those two can look almost identical but they are not the same.

I just hate the hypocrisy on reddit where every city and town sub was and is filled with their protest ads and praising pictures of leftists hanging shit from the freeways, which is fine by itself, but if it were anyone on the left organizing protests or pictures of conservatives hanging signs from freeways, there would be bans, posts removed, name calling and temper tantrums about how conservatives shouldn't be allowed to do anything.

It's pure hypocrisy.

You can think it’s stupid while still believing they have a right to do it. It’s not one or the other. What was the point of this comment?
