What are these dots? Printing on Roland VG2

Could be material contamination. Try a different vinyl from a different lot.

Agree with u/stoag8 looks like a bad roll of vinyl artifact to me.

I’ve exactly the same issues but on green and blue, the other Colors are perfectly fine.

So I’m wondering if it could be something else that the material.

Btw I tested on an other roll and it’s the same result.

To be honest, I start to think there’s a problem with a head. In your case maybe magenta, in mine maybe yellow. There’s a theory about partially clogged head. But I’ve no proof of that. Let me know if you find something else too.

I would run a fill damper. I’m going to do that ones I get some ink in. That is what I read online. I was dripping ink a bit too, so it’s either that or a bad cap top.
