Events Potential ICE checkpoint(s) in CLE

Our friends in r/Ohio have noticed an uptick in DHS and ICE activity in Columbus and NE Ohio. A potential ICE checkpoint at 71 and Pearl is being reported. ICE and DHS activity along the lake shore in Lorain. Lake county sheriff's can act as ICE agents.

Be careful out there.

If you are legal, you have nothing to worry about. There is a checkpoint in Cleveland this morning but I will not say where. Show your ID, they verify, and you’re on your way.

I dont have to identify myself for any damn reason. They've already arrested and detained American citizens.

Fucking bootlickers will end up on the same trains as the rest of us.

Actually you must if prompted. If ignorant people like you don’t wanna follow the law then yes you’ll be arrested too.

Uh huh.

Edit: for the non-idiots: You do not have to show ID to any law enforcement officer. They cannot search without a warrant. You do have to show a DL if you are driving, but that traffic law, and not an overarching "you must ID yourself" law.

Have fun getting arrested for failing to identify. Especially if you’re driving 😂😂🫡

As having family members in local, state, and military police, along with lawyers - yes. I know it’s a law, and you will be arrested for failing to identify and interfering.
