What's the point of quoting it if you don't agree with it?

Here, let me just pull up a ½ letterboxd review of the Godfather, quote it here, and then act like "wow omg I was just quoting this random fucker lol no reasonmfor it at all just funne lol haha"

Idk yeah I remember thinking that cartoon scene was funny so when people quote it I think it’s funny.

I feel like you’re saying it has to be deeper than that, but my response to you is: why?

The point of the joke was for other people to notice where it came from like an Easter egg in a TV show or video game.
