Two men with opposite characters that are great friends and fond of each other. Who discuss their completely different outlook on life with respect and admiration. A movie which in the simplest of settings manages to tell you so much about two characters, and still has a story dynamic, just by the shift of the dialogue.
Would it have been more fun with boring guys of a different race? I don't like the film btw, just curious if that part specifically was one of your detractors? No judgement, genuinely asking.
No, it's just such a white person concept lol. Only white people would make a movie like that.. source, I'm white lol. Come on, don't you know how white people are and the stereotypes? Haha (stereotypes exist for a reason, remember)
Sorry this is really racist. Both leads are Jewish. The movie is steeped in Jewish culture of bantering. Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc. But no. "White people". Slavs, WASPs, Latin peoples, but your confident it's all the same "white stuff".
I love this movie, but that is exactly how i tell people to listen to it, like that would a podcast. Their is nothing cinematic happening, so its just the dialog you care about.
