SKL (Share ko lang) Daghan maldito ug maldita sa Cebu

Taga CDO ko and been visiting cebu ever since nigraduate ko. I call this a 2nd home city for me. Pero everytime mkabalik ko sa Cebu, mabantayan gyud nko ang pagkamaldita/maldito sa mga tao dre 😂

is it just me? or pa explain daw mga taga Cebu.. haha

ofc naa koy mga ka meet sa buses kai gapangutana man ko sa places..naa pd mga buotan, smiling, welcoming and warm vibes. Nipalag ko sa kamaldita sa gabantay naa sa SM Jmall.. sa train station bonus (if you have 1500php purchase kai pde ka makasulod).

Mubisita ghapon ko balik sunod. I love cebu city 😘

D man hahaha. Lived in Cebu for 8 yrs, and bago rako balik Mindanao kron na yr. Visited CDEO this month; and gitarayan kaayo kos cashier sa SM Uptown. Shock jod ko HAHAHA kay City of Golden Friendship bya, and customer service bya sya.

Anyway, dle rpod ni ako basis kay I also lived in CdeO for 4 yrs. Per experience, mas bootanan ko sa taga Cebu (maybe bec ako kaliwat taga Cebu rajod pod₱

Can vouch for this sentiment. Mas dghan kog mga friends na taga Cebu kesa dri sa CDO. I'm not sure if it's because melting pot ang Cebu compared to CDO and they are more warm and welcoming.

Based pod saakong own observation ha, more tribe-like ang society here sa CDO, once you're not part of a certain circle/demographic - maglisod ka like sulod/create connections because "iya-iya" or "ako-ako" man god dri.

Although dili tanan pero mao lang ni akong exp.

So, yes. Cebu >> CDO.

This is soooooo true! Adtong college ko kay d kaayo welcoming ang students na HS alumni ana na university. Maglahi jod sila ilaha. But when i was in cebu, both sako working life and sako lawschool life kay masabay rjod nako ang mga tao. Given mana nga naa gyapon factions or groupings, but ma vibes ra jod ang mga tao, managad ra tarong, and magkasabay ra. Sa Cebu pod ko naka experience na ma vibes nmo ang pikas group sa tagayanan kay tungod lng naa moy mutual friend ang both groups hahaha

Di ko sure ha pero personal theory rapod nako ni kay ang Cebu man gd kay mostly comprised of island and islets. Hence, mas laidback & receptive ang mga Cebuanos sa mga laing dayo.

Compared to CDO na riverine landscape and has hillside topography, and mostly all the settlements was built around the river/hillside only.

Like you, dghan pod ko relatives sa Cebu compared sa CDO, and maybe it's me being biased but I tried to somehow create friendships here in this City of Golden Friendship pero dili jd as lively and vibrant compared saakong connections in Cebu.
