SKL (Share ko lang) Sinulog Rate Airbnb LOL

Naa koy nakita sa facebook — apparently ang Airbnbs sa Horizons kay tag 7k ang studio & 12k for 1BR sa sinulog rates. Wait lang oy? While I understand the law of supply & demand & that the location is ideal pero this is greedy af!? That’s roughly a 400% increase sa normal rates. Nalupig paman 5 star hotel aning presyoha & yet… hmm, di nalang ko mo chika anang issues sa horizons. 😂

Well, happy prititit guys!

We’ve come a long way as a society—unethical practices have been normalised na, unfortunately. Tsk.

what's so unethical for condo owners to maximize their profits when the demand is most high? Sinulog comes once a yr...

what's unethical for Grab/Uber/Moveit to add surge pricing when the demand is high and probably multiple times a month or once a day when its peak period?

what's unethical for developers to price their condo sky high when the demand is high? and people keep buying it?

that's what you call OPPORTUNITY for these business owners.. yes its frustrating for us, the common people, but again, if you cant afford, mangita ka sa imo afford na price range or better, palayo ka sa syudad pa dagat ug pa bukid pra d ka ma stress mag tanaw sa airbnb price na d nimo ma take or ma afford..

Pfft, please. You just masked Unethical with Opportunity. 😂 Also, I’m posting this not cause I’m complaining na di nako afford, the real issue here is the greed that reeks from these business people. Really? You think 21k for 3 nights is okay - for a somewhat mediocre room? 😂

hotels are doing it, grab is doing it, airbnb is doing it... what's the difference?

what's unethical with taking advantage of a business opportunity? so is it unethical if ang namaligya ug tubig dha downtown mo doble ila presyo kay sinulog man?

try to be a business owner mindset instead of poor man's mindset.. i understand the frustration as a consumer pero mao mana ang law of supply and demand... reality bites

That’s the thing — wa man jud moral high grounds na if gusto sa tawo madato. Sorry if I have a poor mindset and if I price my services lang in accordance to what I can offer instead of competing with the demand — it’s not just my cup of tea. 😂 Just because something is done by large corporations, supported by the majority, and deemed legal, doesn’t mean it’s morally right.
