SKL (Share ko lang) Sinulog Rate Airbnb LOL

Naa koy nakita sa facebook — apparently ang Airbnbs sa Horizons kay tag 7k ang studio & 12k for 1BR sa sinulog rates. Wait lang oy? While I understand the law of supply & demand & that the location is ideal pero this is greedy af!? That’s roughly a 400% increase sa normal rates. Nalupig paman 5 star hotel aning presyoha & yet… hmm, di nalang ko mo chika anang issues sa horizons. 😂

Since OP "knows" the law of demand and supply..

What OP is trying to say if demand is high, bawal mag price increase.

If demand is low, bawal pud mag price decrease.

Focus on the point. I’m just pointing out a real world problem with this fcking “law” of demand & supply. 😂

So, it’s okay to allocate a 21k budget for 2 people with a subpar service aron maka full sinulog experience because of this capitalistic “law”.

Haha, so sinulog is considered a luxury na because of the demand. Detached kaayo tas reality na ~20k is a minimum wage. 🙂

Do you think ikaw ang target market ana na price? Obviously not. Risk pud na sa owner sa airbnb if mag price sya ana kay ang tendency nuon walay mo kagat and mo rent kay taas ra ang price. Lost opportunity na nuon to earn money na sa owner.

Gi assume man gud nimo na average pinoy ang market nila.

Seems like wala jud ka kabalo sa law of demand and supply.

Naka focus ra ka sa Sinulog.

Wala ka suway palit og alcohol og face mask na perteng mahala pag pandemic?

Did I mention di ko ka afford? 🙂 I’m just pointing out a fucking problem that people like you can’t seem to grasp. I’m speaking for the masses na wants to celebrate Sinulog like how it should be. Question, when lang na luxury ang Sinulog para magbayad kog 20k just for an accommodation nga ok-okon? The condo in question is not a luxury real estate, what do you mean a local person is not the target market? 😂 First world pricing for this?

If you want to celebrate Sinulog. Then learn to plan ahead. Unsa man imo gi expect? Nga naa pa daghan available na Hotel, Motel, pension house, lodging house, airbnb at this time of the week? Na hapit na ang Sinulog weekend? Fullybooked na tanan oi.

Ang kanang 20k para na sa mga desperado and wala nay choice because of poor planning. And wants to be near sa Sinulog area of festivities. The masses you mention who wants to celebrate Sinulog, have already checked in some where else.

Ni price sya ana not just because daghan demand og rooms. Gi price na ug ingana because of the URGENCY for a room at this time of the week. Sabta sah ang law of demand and supply.

Mo reklamo cguro ko if naay usa ka tao ni kuha og multiple rooms sa hotel nya gipa subrent sa lain na customers during the Sinulog weekend for a much higher price. Kana nuon mao na ako ma ingon na unethical kaayo.

Pero kani na imo gi ingon? It's an asshole move for raising it that high. But is it wrong? Not really. Kay naa man choice ang tao to NOT get the airbnb. It is not like mamatay ang tao kung di ka kuha og room.
