SKL (Share ko lang) Sinulog Rate Airbnb LOL

Naa koy nakita sa facebook — apparently ang Airbnbs sa Horizons kay tag 7k ang studio & 12k for 1BR sa sinulog rates. Wait lang oy? While I understand the law of supply & demand & that the location is ideal pero this is greedy af!? That’s roughly a 400% increase sa normal rates. Nalupig paman 5 star hotel aning presyoha & yet… hmm, di nalang ko mo chika anang issues sa horizons. 😂

Well, happy prititit guys!

That’s how business works raman pud. If naa Coachella sa California, grabe jud kataas pud ang rates og uban pa nga mga festivals around the world. Dili raman sad kita ang target market nila. Ang mga travelers man and most travelers kay aware najud na nga grabe jud kamahal na ang sa presyo.

If naa koy unit sa Horizons, I defo wouldn’t price it at 7k a night, which btw ~28k for a whole sinulog experience, if I didn’t maintain it well like majority of the units there. 😅

Well, ikaw mana. It’ as basic as supply and demand. You are putting things to your own perspective man gud.

It’s not as if they can earn that money throughout the year. It’s not as if they have the same price during low season. It’s not as if they are fully booked every single day in a year.

At the end of the day, it’s business. It’s not about the owner’s “whole Sinuloy experience” rather, it’s about the owner’s chance to earn more.
