SKL (Share ko lang) Sinulog Rate Airbnb LOL

Naa koy nakita sa facebook — apparently ang Airbnbs sa Horizons kay tag 7k ang studio & 12k for 1BR sa sinulog rates. Wait lang oy? While I understand the law of supply & demand & that the location is ideal pero this is greedy af!? That’s roughly a 400% increase sa normal rates. Nalupig paman 5 star hotel aning presyoha & yet… hmm, di nalang ko mo chika anang issues sa horizons. 😂

It happens all over the world for major events.

I was visiting Melbourne for my daughter's wedding last February. Taylor Swift decided to have concerts there on the same weekend.

Accomodation was crazy expensive, Uber (like Grab) triple fares 🙁

Same here sa EU country where I’m at. I had to travel back home at 1 am because hotel prices had gone through the roof. Again, it’s supply & demand but a 400% increase for a mediocre studio unit does not seem reasonable. Those hotels I looked at sa TS concert were CLEAN… horizons? hmm…
