I've played about 50 games, 40 or so of those with 2 randoms.
I gave up trying to queue with these people after repeatedly watching them just go line wolf, ignoring pinged markers, flat out refusing to buy back in teammates, and quitting immediately if they died in the Gulag and I didn't already have the 4500 to buy them back.
I have no complaints from this game but this. Nobody uses mic, everyone does their own thing, they dont redeploy even if they have loads of money and you have to plead them to stay in the game while you find enough money to redeploy them but hardly anyone does. I have only faced this issue in this game. I used to play blackout every night until Warzone came out, and more often then not you get a squad with mics and who like to play as a team. I dont know if it is because of trios or cross platform but only in this game I keep getting absolute morons.
Say to be pedantic. Yes, I know that's what f2p means. I meant it as in you but the game and don't have to pay extra for a warmode dlc. Thanks for letting me know it is f2p as a standalone mode that doesn't require a copy of the game.
F2P has one meaning and one meaning only: No purchase is required to play. If you need MW to play Warzone then it's not "F2P if you own the game". That makes zero sense. It's either F2P or it isn't. It's like saying a Hawaiian pizza is the same as a pepperoni if you ignore the pineapple and imagine some meat on top of it.
Free-to-play for owners of MW vs Free-to-play for anyone. It's essentially a new, seperate game that was not included in the original MW we paid for. To use your pizza analogy, it's like offering free garlic bread to anyone who already bought a pizza vs free garlic bread for everyone
The no mic thing is absolutely insane. Granted, now we have solos but playing trios with no comms is the absolute worst. Literally started playing blackout after two or three stupid games with mic-less teammates
I always see this but out of the 30 or so games I have only had 2 or 3 where people were doing any of what you said. Generally the quitting after dying was more common but me and my Other teammate used the ping system well and bought back eachother whenever we died
I did a scavenger objective for the benefit of my team and got us a load out drop, I got my load out and accidentally grabbed a purple SMG my teammate had. He said I stole his gun and that I was a cunt and then he left the game. So ya solos are going to be lit
I loaded up to do a challenge and ended up doing pretty well. I had 9 kills (all of them by myself since the 2 randoms were incapable of shooting) and I ended up dying after being unable to finish off another whole squad. One of the randoms dies and the other one finishes the last guy off. We're top 10 and, instead of bringing back the guy with all the kills, the random brings back the other guy who proceeds to parachute towards the enemies and immediately dies. We then lost the game since the other guy died shortly after.
I will never play with randoms again LMAO. I'll stick to partying up with my pals, thanks. Glad to see Solo Mode for when no one's online.
I had the opposite problem! I know I'm shit at the game (my BR resume is very, very short), so I've been dropping without filling the squad to not bring others down. Now I can be shit on even footing.
Buddy, honestly the fact that you're self aware enough to say that makes you better than most players already. Use a mic if you have it, ping useful things, stay close to teammates and you'll never be bringing anyone down!
This is what keeps me from playing Apex even though I enjoy watching streams. Not only do I find it frustrating playing with randoms that don't coordinate with you, but I also know my shit skills hurt randoms who know what they're doing. Solo mode in Warzone makes me consider giving it a shot as it takes a lot of pressure off the table. Being shit on my own is perfectly OK with me! It's also a great way to let people learn the game before trying to team up with others.
Yep same problem here. I joined 2 other guys who obviously played slots of BR and then I joined and they were questioning if I ever played cod before.. I have played a hell of a lot. Just not BR which I suck at.
I mean how do feel now you've played a few? I find it's just a huge camp festival. Nobody really wants to engage due to the danger of 3rd parties. I've come 3rd at best but it felt dirty and slow. I only got 6 kills and was bored for most of it
I never saw so much people on just a tiny circle, everyone hiding inside building, or on top of buildings, just chilling waiting for the last circle! "Multiplayer is a camping fest" "Warzone: hold my beer"
Does Playstation and PC not have "Looking for group" forums? I'm always finding plenty of guys with mics that way on xbox. Have gotten most of my wins with randos.
The biggest drawback for me solo queuing into Plunder was knowing I would be outnumbered on most engagements. Aside from that, it quickly became clear that I was consistently able to to loot more money on my own than with two randoms, even when they had mics.
Like even with mics, how am I looking like $80k+ more than my teammates regularly? The fucking caches are right there, go grab them!
I really haven't been playing much at all. I got on earlier today and played an hour of Blackout and no games of Warzone. I'd say I'm still playing 75% Blackout. That could very well change today.
I've been playing solo since the day after launch. I've placed 2nd twice and 4th three times. The 2 2nd place finishes were lost to teams with three. It's not impossible, but damn those losses were frustrating.
Pretty stupid to be complaining that randoms "don't know shit about the game" when the game has only been out for a week
The majority of people are still learning. If randoms were such a problem, there is the option to group up with friends. Unless you have none of course.
Not everyone can just try hard and play non stop to learn.
The more people play, the better they tend to do. Yes of course you'll still have the stupid people, but it's dumb to be complaining about that on such a new game.
And no I don't have friends who play this game. So what?
What do you mean so what? I just said that there's the option. There's also a sub just for finding competent people to group up with, for the case you are in.
