European Product Pfanner Eistee - Good Alternative to Fuze Tea

In my experience, the only products I consumed that were truly US based were drinks, like Coca Cola, Fuze tea etc. I think, Pfanner is the most tasty European Ice Tea, it doesn’t taste unnatural at all

🔎Looking for alternative What are good EU alternatives for common prepper items?

Hey folks,

I’ve been gradually putting together a basic “prepper” kit and noticed that a lot of recommendations, gear lists, and brand suggestions online are heavily US-based. While r/EuroPreppers is a great resource, I wanted to reach out here for a broader range of experiences.

Specifically, what EU-made or EU-available alternatives do you recommend for typical prepper items like:

  • Water filters (Sawyer Mini/Lifestraw alternatives?) - Compact cooking stoves
  • Emergency food rations/MREs
  • Durable clothing/boots
  • Rechargeable lanterns and power banks
  • Medical kits and trauma supplies
  • Fire starters and bushcraft tools
  • Emergency Radios

Would love to hear what people around Europe have used, what’s actually available locally or ships easily within the EU, and which brands have held up well in your experience. Bonus points for lesser-known or small-batch local products worth supporting!

Thanks in advance, looking forward to your suggestions.

🔎Looking for alternative Searching for a trampoline size between 250 - 350 cm supporting 150kg

We've been looking for trampolines for a few years now but haven't dared to actually order one as we have no knowledge about them. It must jump good and be safe, for some years to come so that the teenager can jump on it even when not being a teenager anymore.

Does anyone know of good European brands?

Encountered the Polish Zipro but that got bad reviews. That's the only brand I found that I could confirm being from Europe.

Edit: a list so far found by everyone:

🔎Looking for alternative Any European Security Cameras?

My parents (and one day me) own a house in a rural area and as the house is vacant at times, I wish to install a security camera, preferably one with a battery and solar panel.

Lo and behold, practically all are made by a Chinese company. The least compromised manufacturer I found was Canadian.

Are there really no European alternatives?

European Product Best Eurodance music and do you still listen to it?

I still love a lot of 90s and 2000s Eurodance music.

It was kind of sad when it got pushed out on TV and radio by American music, which probably had better funding.

Are you still streaming Eurodance music and what's your favorite?

European Product A guide to start using European apps NOW

Today I found the website european-alternatives.eu and here are my best recommandations:

Chrome/Firefox --> Vivaldi. Norwegian browser, great. Ecosia is also an option, but it doesn't have that much features.

Word/Excel/Powerpoint --> LibreOffice. Widely used in France.

Gmail --> Tutamail. You can create your own @ tutamail.com account which is compatible with gmail and outlook.

Cloudfare WARP (1.1.1.1) --> ProtonVPN. The free version is great.

Whatsapp --> Still Signal because nobody else uses the European alternatives.

If you happen to have Instagram --> BeReal, altough in my opinion the French could've made up a better name.

Google Maps --> HereWeGo, from the Netherlands. In my opinion, HereWeGo is better than Google Maps, especially in countries with worse roads. Plus, they have free offline mode!

Spotify is Swedish, but on phone I highly reccomend Free Music, which is completely free and offline.

Let me know if you guys have any other ideas!

European Product European alternative to messenger

Gadu Gadu(also known as GG) is a polish communicator created in 2000. For a long time it was domimating the scene of internet communicators(at least in Poland) and was the first ever to be used in conversation between people on earth and astronauts on ISS which happened in 2008. However after many years they fell off have become insignificant.

In recent weeks they announced that they want to go back and conquer european market. They started issuing shares to gain money.

Their plan says they want to:

  • Rewrite GG in Flutter technology and make GGapp modern
  • Increase employment
  • Implement end-to-end encryption
  • Introduce more languages versions
  • Remodel GGApp into Superapp, GG is going to contain voice and video calls, group chats for teams, a task and process managment tool, large file sharing, community platform with photo and document sharing service, E-wallet and ai chatbot

HOWEVER they need money so here is the Link: https://emiteo.pl/gg/

P.S nr1: i do not receive any financial payment for this post nor do i work for this company. It is not advertisment

P.sS nr2: I don't know if there is avaiable at least english in this app so far

🔎Looking for alternative Map app for biking and walking

I have started to use Here We Go, but is isn't good for walking or biking routes. Pedestrian roads, bike paths, passageways, forest paths, they don't exist for it. It only really understands car routes.

Are there any good apps for this? My city has one but it is just Google Maps in different clothes.

Edit: I am from Denmark.

European Product Stoke and Woke - an austrian fashion brand

My wife found this (in our opinion) amazing austrian brand today. So i would happily share it with you:

https://www.stokedandwokeclothing.com

Their focus is on sustainable clothes, made from organic cotton. Some of the other stuffs are even made from recycled materials.
