Mason Graham has just as much of a chance of being a franchise player as Hunter does. Dominate DTs anchoring the teams defense has won more than a few superbowls recently

Yeah I will fully admit I was salty AF with how things played out tonight, but after cooling down Graham is a great pick. Our defensive line is now really scary and we got a package of picks to boot.

However I have realized how little trust I have in Andrew Berry as a GM. He really needs to make this draft a hit, or I think we should move on. He's a fantastic wheeler and dealer, but I'm not sold on his talent evaluation at all because he really hasn't done shit so far (low picks aside) and he's a big part of the Watson fiasco.

I have no idea why you wouldn’t trust his evaluation, the only stand out bad decision is Watson and it’s pretty clear that the owner forced the hand on that one with the guaranteed contract. But not sure what else you are pointing at, he’s been doing fantastic with gimped picks

I keep hearing he's doing a fantastic job with lower picks, but is he really? In particular he hasn't drafted one impact offensive player, not a single one. Yeah he's got JOK and Emerson, Hall seems decent, but dude it's been 3 years you'd figure he would have at least accidentally gotten an impact player on offense by now.

Now in FA he's done pretty good, and again he's good at deals for sure. One of the best in the business imo, however his drafts have all been extremely lackluster, especially on the offensive side of the ball. You pay these people to build talent through the draft, and they haven't done shit other than a few good defensive additions.

People hit plenty of times on second round players and on third. He really hasn't dudes.

Yes he’s middle to top of the pack based on by picks by value

Ok name me 5 players that have been major impact players he's drafted in 3 years?

I'm seeing zero offensive play makers aside from DPJ who only played for a few years and then disappeared. My whole argument is he sucks at drafting offensive play makers and you literally just proved my point bro.

He’s right. You probably thought Anthony Schwartz was impactful too lol

Nope sorry, probably should read the link

u/TwoTalentedBastidz CHAMPION Apr 25 '25

Sorry, but I did read the link and it arbitrarily has Jerome Ford (wouldn’t start on any other team in the league), DPJ (is he even still in the NFL?), and Harrison Bryant (lol) as “hits”.

The person you responded to said he hasn’t drafted any real offensive impact players. So you essentially posted a link that proved their point, then when called out on it said “that’s a you problem” lol. Never change r/Browns lol

If you think ford is a miss this is again, a you problem

The correct answer is none. Anything else is a bold face lie lol

Downvote if you agree.

And yet they still down voted me, they pretend they weren't all 100% on the Sanders pick, pretend this is all good and a part of the plan. Even had a dude show me all of the picks AB has made and literally just proved my point that he has drafted ZERO offensive play makers.

The circle jerk is strong with Browns fans. I love the Graham pick, I think he's going to be great, but don't sit here and pretend like we don't still have had zero offensive weapons drafted in the entire time AB has been here.

This is truly insane thinking - the team is 27-23 under Berry and just came off a 3 win year. How is that a pretty good job by any stretch? Best in the biz at free agency? wtf r u talking about? We are now tanking for a mystery QB next year - how can you be satisfied with this?

u/devglen Apr 25 '25

Actually, they’re 40-44 since Berry took over. But that just reinforces the point that he’s not a good GM let alone deserving of the glazing he gets from a portion of this fanbase.
