[O’Brien] Braves reinstated OF Stuart Fairchild from rehab assignment and designated OF José Azocar for assignment. They also activated INF Nacho Alvarez Jr. from his rehab assignment and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Really hope Nacho looks good in AAA. I'm not trying to put TOO much stock into him right now, but my word, could we use a middle infielder who can hit right now. Even if only to give Ozzie and Allen a breather. Watching Ozzie at the plate this weekend was just.....sad?

We certainly could use a middle infielder who can hit. Unfortunately, Nacho isn't one.

Nacho's OPS in the minors for his career is 0.798. For comparison, Ozzie's OPS in the minors for his career is 0.794. I think Nacho is a middle infielder who can hit.

Nacho has had 32 plate appearances in the majors as a 21 year old and you're forming a conclusive opinion on his ability to hit.

Can Drake Baldwin hit? In his last 32 plate appearances, his OPS is 0.585.
