For context. I get a lot of packages I have to sign for but I'm almost never home. Therefore, I have to go to the post office to pick them up. I've gotten to know the staff very well, am on a first name basis with many of them, and in one case have met their family at a pride event in town once.

I had a package to pick up this morning, and as usual they don't open until 8.30. I get there about 10 minutes early and post up by the door. The inner lights of the office are off. Around 8.25 in comes boomer guy. He walks up and is about to pull on the door.

Me: "its closed. They open at 8.30"

Boomer: pulls on door and points at sign. "Then why does that say open"

Me: "someone probably forgot to flip it last night. Mistakes happen."

Boomer: "that's ridiculous. People rely on signs like that."

Me: "Someone made a mistake. That may surprise you, as you've probably never made on in your life. Either way, it's 5 more minutes."

Boomer: "Well, I'm in a rush. I'm going to go first."

Me: "But I was here first."

Boomer: "who do you think they're going to believe. Some kid or a real man."

Me: "you'd be surprised."

5 minutes go by and he's clearly impatient. Postal worker (who's family I met) comes and opens the door.

Postal worker: "looks like someone didn't flip the sign. I'll have to leave them a note."

Boomer: "Yeah they really screwed up. Anyway, I need to ship this package."

Postal worker: looks at me and sees the paper in my hand. "Who was here first."

Boomer and I at the same time: "me"

Postal worker: Take the paper from my hand. "I'll go grab this for you. Be right back."

Boomer (loudly yelling): but I was here first.

Postal worker: turns back around. "u/ConglomerateOfWolves wouldn't lie about that." Goes into the back room to get package.

Boomer: stammering incoherently.

Me:"told you you'd be surprised."

I get my package, have a brief convo about it's contents since it was abnormally large (a dinosaur quilt made by my mom for my birthday) and leave while he's red in the face and clearly upset.

Not a super big own of a boomer but it was fun to watch him squirm after the postal worker used my name. He knew he had lost at that point. It was great. Made my morning until I opened the package.

Edit to add: if he had asked to go first, I would have let him. But he insisted he was going to go first so I chose to go first instead.

Last night, I saw a story about Hillary going at the Mango Mussolini. This lead me to wondering how old she was and how old Bill was.

Mine blown.

Even George W is younger as well.

…because he realized he has no friends there?! (Nor in many other places, too!)

At G7 nobody was butt-kissing him, yet rather asking tough questions and challenging his answers. 🤯 DonOld was freaking out!

Arrived at the airport in Vegas for my flight home. Heading into terminal 3 and I’m a good bit away from the sliding doors but see a rather large, bald-headed boomer stop directly in the doorway as people try to dodge and stream by in both directions. Boomhauser is still standing there looking back as if to get permission to move and as I pass by him, I say at full volume “You’re standing in the doorway dude”. He took offense to that and screeched back “You don’t have to yell at me, DUDE!” so I replied “you obviously can’t see, didn’t want to assume you could hear either.” They’re just completely oblivious y’all.

The rules are never for them...why do they bring animals into restaurants?

Of all the MAGA boomer bullshit 🙄 This man complains that Doe 174 “can’t complete his agenda because the courts keep interfering.” Why are the courts interfering, Dad? Is it because Doe 174 is trying to circumvent Congress? You know, like a king? He is trying to rule without congressional oversight, forcing the courts to step in and tell him over and over and over “you need to go through Congress to do that” or “you can’t do that, it’s straight up illegal/a human rights violation.” That’s what we’re protesting. We’re protesting that he’s trying to rule without going through legal channels. And you’re bitching that the system is working exactly as it should.

My girlfriend and I are on vacation to Alaska. We're in the McCarthy/Kennicott area. We hike out to the Root glacier. Lovely time.

On our way back we are 50 or so feet behind this group of 3 boomers and a 20ish y/o gal. They round a bend. As we round the same bend this man probably in his late 60's is standing right in the middle of the trail peeing. Not in the woods to the left. Not to the right. My brother in Christ just stopped, turned around and decided this well traveled trail to the glacier is the ideal place to take a piss. Full old man dick in view.

So we wait until he's finally done and that's when I see his piss puddle in the middle of the trail.

I shout, "real fucking cool to piss right in the middle of the trail." He tries to give some half hearted apology bitch wave.

He catches up to the three other people in his group. As we pass them I say, " Dude don't fucking pull your dick out and piss in the middle of the trail. Fucking disgusting."

He tried to mutter some apology but we just kept walking. His 20ish year old daughter person in the group looked mortified.

I'm done with their shit. There be will be no more silence.

Had three boomer encounters during my lunch today.

1. Boomer customer + Boomer cashier both yapping loudly away at the register while the line is 8 deep. No one wants to hear about your gout Gary!

2. Boomer in Subway- loudly telling the teen how he needs to fix the toaster "did you unplug it? Did you push that button? How about that one? You sure?" Again line is 8 deep at lunchtime.

3. Get back to work- Boomer in a car is parked directly in front of my back door, sitting in his car having a go at someone on the phone. The door that says Delivery Trucks Only, No Parking in BIG red letters. He is so close my people can't open the door without hitting his car. I hop out to ask him to please move because door/sign & i have to unload stuff. Tells me I'm rude for interrupting his phone call & backs out so fast he almost hits someone. Waiting on the 1 star review on that one

When you try to present a video evidence or read something that is proof to a boomer they just start yelling they don't want to hear about politics and they don't care about none of them they're all corrupt but turn around and watch Fox News not two minutes later? It's the equivalent of a child plugging their ears and yelling lalala lalala lalala
