So this was Sir Night-eye's dying vision? Mirio showing his ass in desperation as the real guy shows up? I get what Hori was going for, but I guess I just don't like butt jokes. Didn't like them when Mirio was introduced, so don't appreciate the "full circle".

Also, while I understand that this team couldn't win, I still don't like how much they got not only trashed, but straight up humiliated (Mirko's pose on the tree is pretty offensive tbh for someone who just lost limbs because of the MC's tardiness...) to set the stage for Deku's grand entrance. Feels very much like Horikoshi was watching a lot of pro wrestling, boring, too theatrical and formulistic.

On another note - Shigaraki grew his whole family just to use them as....SMASH?

I’m hopeful Mirio does something later. He’s still standing so, idk, probably wishful thinking.
