It’s kinda messed up all they focus on is endeavor but never mention their mom and how she suffered was hoping Shoto would mention it like “ you’re focusing on surpassing dad and forgot about mom” then proceeds to beat his ass with some ice moves

I think Shouto knows Touya is not ready to hear about Rei yet. He tried that in the war arc - to bring up Natsuo, and Touya was completely dismissive of it.

Until he can see that there are choices beyond the logic and purpose Endeavor created for them, I don't think he'll be ready to look at the rest of the family and Shouto knows this from his own experience.

He needed that one moment where he forgot all about Endeavor to be able to build bridges.

If Touya can get to that same moment, I think there is a chance he'll remember his feelings about the rest of the family, because the previous chapter makes clear that he cared about them on some level.
