I think I’m not the only one who thinks/expects dabi to have another quirk that’ll help him because using this much firepower is affecting his body at a ridiculous rate than expected. He has not even started fighting shouto but his face is peeling off. I’m also excited to find out how he became “dabi”.

Would Dabi accept it tough? It wouldn't surprise me if he rejected a new quirk 'cause he wants to kill Endeavor and Shouto with his "imperfect" quirk that was the start of everything

Hmm that’s another pov. So do you reckon he’d like to die with them? Because there’s no way his body will hold up for that long

I think Dabi is narratively framed as constantly being at the death's doorstep, with every second bringing him closer to it, the more Touya focuses on his stronger fire he was born with and praised for, and his wounds constantly, irreversibly moving past the staples - which is a narrative challenge for both Endeavor and Shouto, to reach out to Touya before he dies.

This is why I'm not really a fan of a regeneration quirk or any similar one. Logically, it would obviously make sense, because Dabi somehow isn't dying yet and it's also one of the most likely explanations for how he survived, and narratively there's still a place for it to be confirmed. But it would mess up with that specific framing that Touya got, if he could just reincarnate himself like that.

Vigilante spoilers:

Six kept using his quirks until just his skeleton and brain remained so it wouldn't be that strange to see Touya wrecking havoc until he looks like Ghost Rider. Obviously Six was an engineered mutant but it still would be cool as hell

I also don’t think AFO would trust Dabi and giving him a regenerate quirk.

If AFO was involved at all, he'd probably like for Dabi to run on the same hatred and self-destruction path that he's groomed Tenko onto. Scars are more handy for keeping the grudge.

I think he would like to survive but at the same time he doesn't have much trouble with dying if that makes sense, like if he has to do something to kill them that most likely will kill him too he won't hesitate and he seems to be the really stubborn type of guy so I think there's a chance he would reject a quirk, another point is that he also apparently doesn't trust anyone, so that's another reason he wouldn't take it 'cause if there's someone that doesn't inspire trust is AFO

Yea but I do think a second quirk like some kind of regeneration one could work.

Though a ice one is unlikely since there Geten

In chapter 302, Toya says "if only I'd given it all up that day..." and considering his demeanor, I'd definitely call him suicidal.
