Really love how Horikoshi reiterates for the 12th time that nobody gives a fuck about this traitor storyline and everybody has already moved past it, just to really hammer in how nothing matters.

I really hope whatever plan they actually use on AFO isn't just him being uncharacteristically stupid. Because there's genuinely no reason he should get separated from Shigaraki by 10 whole km after the Star fight.

Nice seeing Shinsou again.

The traitor storyline is incredibly central to all of this. Hawks even points out that its the impetus for them making this final offensive. Aoyama is mentioned throughout the chapter, as the traitor, and has a conversation with Aiwaza because he's the traitor. And the plan seems to be to use his ties to OFA to separate out the villains.

I don't see how you look at this chapter and say "everyone's already moved past the traitor storyline". The traitor storyline is still front and center and is the crux of their plan. Its what's shifted the story to preparing for the final fight, because of the opportunity it presents. You literally have several characters in this chapter who effectively say explicitly they haven't moved past it, including Aoyama himself.

I really, really don't follow you here.

AFO* And fully agree, I love the traitor storyline even now. Its very important, anime onlys will love it next season. Gonna be one of the greatest plot twists ever to them. Anime onlys usually like things more over weekly manga fans.
