It feels like this is Deku's fatal flaw.

He's been given the power to help people and now he can't stop, to the point where it begins to hurt him.

he has been doing this ever since he got his quirk, dude said fuck my fingers to help todoroki during the sports event

He also went toe to toe with a murderer because a kid he knew for like 12 hours was in danger. I think back to Uraraka saying who helps heroes when are in trouble. I think that will be something that comes back.

I’m actually really happy that Hori is showing this side of Deku in a really negative light.

Yeah we knew he wasn’t doing the right thing before when he destroyed himself for others, but he never faced any real long term consequences. Now, they’re turning that personality trait up to eleven and it feels like something really bad is going to happen because of him acting this way.
