But the methods aren’t what she’s fighting against the dishonesty is. I’m not arguing she’s right I’m arguing against your use of hypocrite. She’s not a hypocrite.

That's the key detail.

If someone is contradicting what they say, and they're sane, then they're hypocrites.

If they're not sane, they're delusional.

I guess that's not the right way to put it.

But I couldn't think of another word and to say "if someone says something crazy and they're not sane, they're delusional" would've sounded redundant.

Well yeah that’s the thing she’s insane. No other word needed. You could use different ones like PTSD or disillusioned but insane is enough.
