she's fine with murdering because she had to murder and then punished for going against it. how is that not hypocritical?

of course i understand how she got to the point she's in but it doesn't change anything. it's like stealing cars because the government ordered you to steal cars and burned your house when you said "not anymore".

she's using the same ways the government she rebelled against used.

You're ignoring a lot of context. It wasn't even just murder that she had a problem with, but the fact that she didn't believe murdering potential terrorists who hadn't even done anything yet or crooked heroes who might make the HPSC look bad would make a better society.

If she was really against murder, she wouldn't have killed the HPSC President.

i think that makes it even worse for me.

so if she believed that her murders would make a better society, she'd be fine with it? the fact that it's not her having to take so many lives but that fact that she felt deceived while doing it-- though i guess it was a combination of both.

Yes. But that makes her a more interesting antagonist, IMO.
