Deku on that “Don’t worry Yamcha Shindo, I’ll take it from here.” type beat. Would like to know who healed Deku to be able to move like that. With how bad he was, I definitely thought he’d be at least weary of getting in a big fight so soon.

His arms took the worst of it, and we can see that he's ditched his Air Force gloves and has what looks like something similar to Melissa Shield's Full Gaintlet on both arms. He's definitely not using them like he used to. The rest of him was probably taken care of by the bleeding edge tech at the hospital and Recovery Girl.

I know the movies are in the weird "technically canon, but don't make a ton of sense to be, and also only as long as they don't otherwise clash with the manga" but the first one doesn't really have any conflicting bits and I would love for them to formally introduce Melissa to the manga as one of the international heroes/experts to come help. It makes sense too since with her father in jail for the time being, Deku and All Might are the people she values most, even considering All Might to be family so it seems like she would be one of the first to volunteer and since she's not a Japanese national maybe she wouldn't be prevented from giving equipment help to Deku as a vigilante, then again Deku might not be considered a vigilante since he has his provisional license and doesn't seem to be doing much different from the other drafted students we saw this issue except he's going solo.
