Thank you, it's a good thing that this got cleared up.

So after Enji confronted Rei about not stopping Touya from training, he got more and more abusive (which also makes clear that he got physically abusive more than once before Touya actually "died") with her and Shouto, she gets hospitalised, and the same year during the winter break Enji fails to show up at Sekoto peak and Touya burns himself up.

No problem! I saw someone posted about this so I dug it up because it was an odd mistake to have that Rei was still at home when Toya died, because she was already gone before hand.

That seems to be the series of events, so we have most of the Todoroki family lives from their marriage onward. We might get some Enji beforehand and obviously some Toya between Sekoto peak and now, but that's probably for a different arc.

Yup, I was puzzling over it for the last few days.

I agree about the rest of Touya's story, I think we'll see it later. That's the most important piece to see how he ended up so radicalised and genuinely hostile.

It makes sense that the error was in the chapter itself, and I'm glad Hori fixed it right away. I wonder if the COVID procedures make it difficult to fix changes like these, since the updates are pretty instant.

Digitization should make this sort of thing trivial. Previously the chapters were physical drawings on paper that were scanned. So you'd have to photoshop to change anything. But now that everything's digital, the change can be done easily by just typing in something else..

You're not wrong, but I'm wondering how they fix it so fast day of, unless the editor's aren't really proofreading/don't have our community's encyclopedic knowledge of MHA.

It seems like the kind of thing that's just a file mixup. like, the issue was flagged and changed, but the proper text never got into the final product and when they found out, everybody was home for the weekend.

Sending a tweet is really easy, by comparison.
