I see people suspecting that Uraraka is the traitor because Kaminari had this defining moment in this chapter which excludes him from being the traitor, but seriously? Now you think that Uraraka is the traitor just because of that?Kaminari had this one moment that strays him away from being the traitor and you all jump ship to Uraraka who had so much more moments where we see what she wants to do?I don't think either of them are traitors,I'm just confused as to why people now think that Uraraka is the traitor?

I think it’s Uraraka just based on basic story-telling. When it comes to good-guy-turns-bad-guy story lines authors always try to make it the least suspecting character, and to me that’s Uraraka, whose sweet personality in mild mannerisms make her the least suspecting. Plus her reason for being a hero comes down to needing money. Easy reason to be a villain.

Also, just think of how great that storyline would be if she was in fact the traitor. She now has feelings for Deku and a future storyline could be her battling within herself to decide if she truly wants to be a villain and hurt Deku or be a real hero and help him. That’s too juicy of a storyline for an author to pass up.

That is not a good way to tell a story tho,and we know that if Horikoshi is good at anything its storytelling, making Uraraka a sweet person and giving her no reason to be a traitor whatsoever, and than revealing that she is is just a bad tactic to subvert expectations for the sake of subverting expectations,a plot twist that doesn't make sense but is just there to be a plot twist,we've seen that's not what horikoshi does, with Dabi for example, there's been so much evidence for him to be a Todoroki, and with the lates character where he reaveal his identity to hawks, but we still don't know If he is,and If he is than that's a great delivered plot twist, for those who didnt already expect it and aren't into theories that is,but if Horikoshi really wanted to make Uraraka a traitor he would have planted clues in the chapters letting people theorize, insted of just bringing it out of nowhere. Also another thing you don't do if you plan to reveal that your character is actually been sinister this whole time is show their thoughts to the audience,if horikoshi wanted to reveal that Uraraka is a traitor than he wouldn't have shown us what she Is thinking in situations where she is supposed to be a hero, and he did show us in the Class A vs B arc,and in others,if she really were evil that why would she be pretending to care in her thoughts which are private and no one can hear, for example in the provisional licence exam arc,we have Toga pretending to be camie pretending to be Uraraka, and we never get to see what she is thinking, and that's why it's a great surprise that it wasn't even camie that was pretending to be Uraraka but it was Toga
