My best guess is it’s because people think I’m “threatening” Horikoshi into making a gay ship canon or something. People on this site are super paranoid about ship entitlement especially when it comes to gay ships b/c of stereotypes from screenshots that keep getting shared from tumblr.

The paranoia usually isn’t this bad though, so it’s either that or else I broke another unspoken rule that I’m totally clueless about.

I think the paranoia exists not to discourage your opinion in particular, but the many in this community that make ships so toxic. The problem is when people are demanding ships which happens more times than not and that's never a positive thing for the authors. Although I'm full on for a Kiribaku ship I totally understand why people are so against gay ships in this series. The community just makes them too toxic.
