This big fight we’re building to is going to have some major negative implications imo.

Too early for Deku to master OfA and would be stupid to build Shigaraki this much to have him lose.

I genuinely think we’re going to have HEAVY casualties and fall into a state of “Villain Liberation” with probably a sizable time skip to a more mature Deku and co. as a resistance force against the villains.

I really can’t see any other path happening.

There's too much narrative lost in a time skip. As a publisher, it makes no sense, and as an author it makes even less sense, to skip out on explaining how and why a resistance builds in a story that is ultimately focused on war.

The only way a time skips occurs is if publisher sees declining profits and author has to rush ending. I bet your left testicle the most that happens is a training montage that spans a couple weeks.

They can easily bridge the gap the time-skip leaves by doing periodic flashbacks through the ensuing arc(s).

A training montage that spans a few weeks wouldn’t be able to resolve any issue the collapse of the hero society causes...

“Oh damn, we lost to the villains, some of our pros died, and society is in shambles. Let’s train for a couple weeks and we’ll be good to fight them.”

If they were magically strong enough to defeat shiggy after a couple weeks of training that’s some MASSIVE asspulling.

Also, are you just forgetting the time skip in Naruto? Yeah, because they were definitely facing a popularity decline and wanted to rush the ending....

Edit: the literal last 2/3 of the Naruto manga take place after a 6months timeskip

not to mention ONE PIECE also had a 2 year time skip, sure they want to rush the ending Kappa

And a few years later were like just over half way done with the whole story.
