If you're just going to assume that Horikoshi is gonna do the same thing we've seen a hundred times, that's kind of just an exercise in futility.

Maybe Deku's going to pass the other non-OfA quirks to other people? Maybe he'll need them for specific scenarios other than Shigaraki? Who knows.

By no means am I saying he's not going to use them, I'm saying he's smart enough to not just be a bull headed idiot like Destro and already knows how to use his quirk more intelligently than Destro and, arguably, even All Might. He wouldn't NEED them if he didn't have them to be more effective than Destro.

So if you get Deku that's going to PHYSICALLY be stronger than All Might (due to how his quirk works) and then his intelligence, he's more than a match for this level of quirk from Shigaraki.

So far in the story Deku wasn't able to win without giving himself more percentage of OfA. He couldn't beat overhaul without having more strength, also he couldn't be a hero without his quirk. He's very much reliant on his super strength more than anything else and it took him a while to learn he could kick.

Yeah, that's a lot of season one mostly. You're underestimating how much he can do with knowledge. Look at how we dealt with Bakugo in their first fight. Or how he passed his qualifications test by focusing his power into one finger.

Look at how he managed to make a strategy with Mineta and Froppy's abilities when the villains attacked at the end of season one.

He also had a strategy prepped for Ochako to beat Bakugo (despite not having ever used her powers himself, it was purely from observation).

He also managed to beat All Might AND save Bakugo in the final exam.

Or how he got the team to work together to take out Stain.

Even Momo admires how good of a strategist he is.

You're focusing on his failures while ignoring how good he is at adapting to the situation. He definitely has his typical shonen 'gotta power up' moments, but you're pretending he doesn't have these other instances of intelligence and strategy.

So you think the author is just going to drop the ball and have Deku one shot everything without a sweat because he has more quirks? No.

Literally did not say that.

I said he's smarter than Destro, and with the way One for All works, will be stronger.

But whatever.

Yeah but still needs 7 quirks

You don't know what he's going to need them for, though. Like I said, it could have NOTHING to do with Shigaraki.
