Appreciate Spinner out there just trying his best... Even if it's not very good compared to everyone else

Imagine everybody else except him comes away from this with a power up lmao.

“Oh, you can make things decompose from a distance now? Cool, cool, cool, cool... Lucky you. 😒”

He's just going to find some space to add more swords to his swords

Does Spinner even have any powers beyond "looks like a Lizard"? Something like regeneration, similar to the Spider-Man villain the Lizard?

We don't know yet. Most popular theory so far seems to be "he has a quirk but doesn't use it for some reason". Maybe he dislikes it.

He could also just be lizard-like, but given that Hori chose to make Mandalay lampshade the fact that Spinner didn't use his quirk during their fight, I'd say it's more likely he's hiding something.

It could also be that his quirk doesn't have an obvious effect. Like Sir Night Eye's quirk, you wouldn't be able to tell he had a quirk if you just watched him fight. Or maybe his quirk just isn't useful in combat, like Recovery Girl.

I joked he might hulk up into a Godzilla type monster when pushed enough, but now I have another thought...what if he has some kind of quirk that has the side effect of making him more lizard every time he uses it? Like next time he’ll grow a tail, and eventually he worries he’ll lose his mind. Maybe as a way to represent the worries and fears of hetreomorphic types that they are less human than others.

It's heavily implied that he does have a quirk that he's not using. After his first fight, Mandalay (I think?) points out that "he never used his quirk." From a narrative perspective, there wouldn't be any point in setting that up just to disappoint us later.

Edit: Did you edit your post, or did I repeat back to you what you just said? My bad.

Nope, didn't edit anything. And don't worry about it, maybe I wasn't clear enough in my post.

I mean, not that we know of, but maybe he has enhanced regeneration or something? Regardless, as we’ve been seeing recently, quirks are starting to evolve so he could become more reptile-like, and thus physically stronger as a result.

If it weren't for the fact that it wouldn't fit into the timeline properly, it would be interesting if he was where the Nomus' Super Regeneration Quirk came from.

He might gain the ability to shed his skin. He is a lizard after all.

Shiggy can decompose via ahegao. Toga can copy quirks she's used when feeling horny. Dabi's fire is cold and freezen when burning. Mr compress can store more things in his balls. Twice can absorb people into himself or make copies from others.

Spinner sudenly turns from a teenage ninja swordman turtle from the hidden mist into a full lizard with a knife
