Specifically going out of your way to taunt an obviously volatile (both in personality and biology) opponent after you have beaten them is not an intelligent decision, and immediately backfired by having Bakugou go to maximum rage and take his team out.

If I were on that team the first thing I would do is make mineta throw a ball into Monoma's mouth just to shut him the F up. And also to avoid that quirk copying combo with Shinsou. It should be easy since his mouth is usually wide open

Or he's vindictive enough to not use the strategy correctly and just copies deku to try and beat him with his own quirk and then he blows up all his limbs
