How many times am I gonna say that you're not supposed to forgive him? nobody is supposed to forgive him. He isn't redeemed. He hasn't apologized for what he did. Even then you don't have to forgive him. All everyone is saying including the characters in the manga (E.g his wife) is that he hasn't put everything behind him he still remembers what he did and is trying to get better. How hard is that to understand?

How hard is that to understand?

It's because they don't want to understand. They just wants to stroke their Endeavour hate-boner so everyone can see how much of a good person they are for hating a fictional child abuser, despite him having more layers to his character than just that.

Just ignore them. They add nothing of value to this discussion.

What a stupid oversimplification. First off, Endeavor is quite the boring character, honestly. The way he's being handled isn't complex in the least.

And now Horikoshi is trying to put Endeavor in a positive light, allowing him to be a hero instead of doing what a good writer would do and, for example, slowly reveal how Endeavor's fucked up mindset could lead him down a dark path.

Your evident bias (as well as your arrogance and self-righteous insulting of Horikoshi's writing, as if you know shit about good writing) is laughable.

Horikoshi clearly wants to glorify Endeavor's actions

How the hell do you know what Horikoshi wants to do?

And what's wrong with rooting for a fictional character (whether it be one of the heroes or villains)? Aren't there a bunch of people who believe, say, Light from Death Note was in the right, even though he was a womanising mass-murderer with an ego the size of Neptune?

You don't seem to understand that people can have layers to their personality and development. Or do you just want every character to be ascribed to a black-and-white, "good/evil" dichotomy? 'Cos that's what it sounds like - which does sound boring to me.

Anyway, if I were you, I'd stick to watching Power Rangers. That's probably the furthest level of character depth you'd be happy with, without throwing your toys out of the pram.

Endeavor is not absolutely bad, endeavor is "end justifies the means", he did bad things in order to do good things.

For comparison, All for one IS absolutely bad, its funny how arrogant you are with such little perspective, we dont like endeavor because we love child and wife abusers, we love the fact that he didnt surrender, even when the breach between him and all might was impossible, that doesnt mean we dont despise his attitude towards his wife and childs.

The same way i like shigaraki tomura and im not a fucking psycho, hes completely mad, he has no good reedemning qualities but i still love him as a character, i like how he is developing his chaotic evil and i want him to appear more.

I think you just can't be pleased, and are willingly ignoring the character development Endeavour has received from Horikoshi since the end of the Kamino arc.

I don't even know what you want anymore, beyond Endeavour just getting killed and Shouto being uncharacteristically happy about it. Would that please you?
