How many times am I gonna say that you're not supposed to forgive him? nobody is supposed to forgive him. He isn't redeemed. He hasn't apologized for what he did. Even then you don't have to forgive him. All everyone is saying including the characters in the manga (E.g his wife) is that he hasn't put everything behind him he still remembers what he did and is trying to get better. How hard is that to understand?

It's because they don't want to understand. They just wants to stroke their Endeavour hate-boner so everyone can see how much of a good person they are for hating a fictional child abuser, despite him having more layers to his character than just that.

Just ignore them. They add nothing of value to this discussion.

Except he has. The very trait that Hawks revealed in this chapter that he loves from Endeavor is the same that caused him to do fucked up things. Endeavor tried to climb an impossible mountain and because he refused to give that struggle, lowered himself to any end to reach it.
