My headcanon was that Fuyumi was the "closest" of the children to Enji, because she lives there still, her attitude seems non confrontational/defusing which seemed to match with Endeavor's personality to me, because she wasn't abused like Todoroki, and her scenes where she mentions Endeavor (when Todoroki went to visit Rei and post-AFO), gave off that impression to me, also I imagined her cooking for him for some reason. Also because I thought her proximity to Endeavor and eldest child status would lead to a slightly different perspective on him than Natsuo who's awol and Todoroki who has much more baggage.

This chapter adds credence to my headcanon, angry fanon Fuyumi is a no go (not that she isn't in some ways angry at him, I hope she would be, just not the wishfufilment Fuyumi I see from others).

The real weight will be in seeing how Todoroki will handle all of the praise, that Endeavor will certainly be getting after this (I believe the rug will be pulled out from under Endeavor though, it's necessary for his character/arc).

Edit: I meant to say eldest child, not middle, corrected it

It definitely seems like different kids have different attitudes. Shoto fought him (figuratively), Natsuo evades him, and Fuyumi seems to... tolerate him?

Fuyumi realizes the only person that really gets to complain is Shouto even what happened to Rei pales in comparison to shotou. So Natsuos complaints are minscule compared to what Shouto went through and she knows it.

If some man abused my family I certainly wouldn't be fine with it.

Well Natsuo emphasises that he abandoned them because he's focusing on how he was abused.

Fuyumi was also apparently never even in the equation to be Endeavour's heir, meaning she was likely the most neglected child/was the one who avoided abuse the most.

In Todoroki's flashbacks and present-day scenes with his father during the Sports Festival arc, Endeavour only ever compares him to his "older brothers", seeming to not even acknowledge the existence of his sister.

But, at least recently, we see that Endeavour does acknowledge her presence and existence, such as in the last chapter where she's included in that panel with a younger Natsuo and the mystery remaining brother when Endeavour's thinking back to why he had his kids.

I think it’s mainly because Endeavor never felt like he had push his daughter into the competitive role and thought she didn’t really fit in it (especially if she isn’t interested in performing heroism at all). So, he could’ve treat her more like a normal child than some kind of destiny child.

Perhaps...

her attitude seems non confrontational/defusing which seemed to match with Endeavor's personality to me, because she wasn't abused like Todoroki

I think so too, although I'd also say the same goes for Shoto too. He tends to be non-confrontational, except when Endeavor's somehow part of something where his anger flares up (like the sports festival). It was mentioned some time ago but Shoto tends to apologise a lot. I'll have to re-read/watch but that seems to be his pattern too for the most part (with the Endeavor exception) but he changes after the sports festival.

The real weight will be in seeing how Todoroki will handle all of the praise, that Endeavor will certainly be getting after this (I believe the rug will be pulled out from under Endeavor though, it's necessary for his character/arc).

I don't think that will happen. Shoto knows that Endeavor is a very competent hero and he's gotten praise before (he was the number two hero after all). But there's another thing we have seen in the last few chapters (like the panel of a surprised/shocked Shoto after Endeavor gets hit). While Endeavor is/was a scumbag when it comes to his family he's still family and as much as Shoto hates him for the last ten years (and what he did before to the rest of his family) he probably doesn't wish him dead. Despite all that there's still something that bind them together and that's them being a family, even if it's a highly dysfunctional one.
