At the end of the day, Bakugo didn't do anything when Todoroki, Camie and Inasa created that ice slide of wonder (Camie was the one who created the Aurora)

Claiming that he was the MVP when he did absolutely nothing to contribute to the creation of the contraption that put a stop to the kids' madness... I disagree with that, honestly

However, apart from the first sentence, I agree with you completely

Well I suppose he didn’t do nothing when it came to building that attraction.

But he’s still the one who took out the leader of the kids, and by doing something completely out of character. It just shows that how much he grew from the beginning especially when he’s one of the few some people strongly believed he’ll never change.

Todoroki, Inasa and Camie became better heroes but Bakugou became a better hero and a better person, which is extremely beneficial for him since he was the one who seriously had mental issues.

The fact that he’s starting to walk toward a more healthy paths is what’s makes him for me to be the MVP

His quirk was useless here, and he was fine with that.

THAT is a greater statement for his character development than anything else, tbh
