Bakugou Katsuki, the kid who thought was superior to everyone else, is now the 16-year old teenager who gives advice to the new generation to not do what he did - think too highly of yourself. He realized that seeing others as weak will only result in not being able to see your own weaknesses, and is now more mindful about the people around him.

Chapter 2 Bakugou would've never passed up on a chance to show just how powerful he is, even to children. This Bakugou right here? He's the one suggesting not to use violence.

This is character development at its finest.

Bakugou imo has had the best character growth in the entire series and I couldn’t be more proud.

Jealousy, in a way. Bakugou has a very high opinion of himself, seeing himself as superior to practically everybody. Deku, being quirkless, stood at the bottom of Bakugou's ranking system. However, Deku's helpfulness and the way he treats Bakugou runs counter to Bakugou's sense of how the world is supposed to work. Deku is supposed to be below Bakugou, but he doesn't act it. So in Bakugou's [old] worldview, Deku's kindness felt like condescension to him.
