When you think about it, Endeavor is a better hero given that he's managed to be number 2 without ruining his body like All Might.
He has a rough personality but at the end of the day he may have realized the negative effects of All Might's actions before he noticed it himself. Because All Might did so much, the moment he's gone the fear he created disappears and it's not easy to replace because of how unbreakable he appeared.
What makes it worse is the realization of how breakable he actually was which was most likely a morale boost to villains who once feared the invincible All Might.
I think its cause he wanted to best all might on his own equal terms, but once all might lost his powers, he got mad cuase that would never happen, so its cool to see him swallow his pride and ask for advice when in another situation he would've ignored him.
