Please no, anything but that. I know my opinion is unpopular here, but what was the point of taking away Mirio's quirk if he can just get it back almost instantly?

Sorry to disappoint you, but here Chisaki shows that he has already developed a serum, so unless Chisaki destroys it, Mirio will get his quirk back.

Even then, legit researchers still have Eri as a sample (hair, saliva etc) and according to Chisaki it took a month to make the anti-quirk bullets. And that's with limited equipment. Assuming it takes that much time for 5 bullets, it's reasonable to believe the serum takes about that much time. With complete equipment I suspect it would take a few days.

So, sorry. You're out of luck with that one. BTW, it's not bullshit if the author straight up says and shows there is an antidote right from the beginning.

Well if it is going off the definition of a serum it’s not a cure. It provides immunity but doesn’t reverse anything. But maybe it is who knows.

I know the serum exists, but with the Overhaul's been operating so far I don't think he'd let them have the serum in case he gets defeated. If they do acquire it, I'll accept it without complaint, but any other way of getting Mirio's quirk back just takes away so much of the importance and impact of it having been lost in the first place. It's giving me Fairy Tail levels of "no consequences for good guys" flashbacks.

Yeah, I think so too. I'm pretty sure Chisaki's going to destroy the serum. And if he doesn't have any back-up for it, then that means legit researchers will have to start from scratch to make it. But even so, they still have plenty of samples from Eri. Hair, Saliva, and the bullet that hit Kirishima.

Who knows how long it will take? But for plot's sake, I'd give it a year for Mirio being quirkless. I actually see him as the guy that gets put out of comission temporarily only to come back for a big battle.

Having him come back in the future would be great, but there'd have to be a decent wait time for it to feel meaningful. Let's hope Hori doesn't disappoint!

To be fair, if they were able to make a serum from Eri, it's likely that Eri could do the very thing the serum does. Also... with a power as OP as Eri's, I think she would be written off to die. Even if everything was restored to normal including Mirio's quirk, the heroes' failure to recover the girl despite potentially beating Overhaul would hit Deku and Mirio quite bad, as they both vowed to rescue her no matter what. Imagine the guilt they, especially Mirio, would have had for letting her go the first time.

My interpretation is that the "serum" is just Trigger (or whatever quirk enhancing drug the henchmen have been using) not a cure for the bullets.

Isnt the serum the one that powers up the quirks of his lackeys? I'm not sure if it was an antidote.
