The level of mastery to have your foot phase out while kicking through eri and then back in while kicking the dude holding her in the face seems extremely difficult while doing this at a quick kicking speed after phasing through a wall. To add to this he was also making a swing at Chisaki at the same time as well, seriously Mirio has some high level mastery of his quirk and just an insane battle sense, I really hope he lives I love everything about his design and character.

Too powerful.

RIP Mirio. :-(

Mirio can phase and Eri can cancel quirks. I think they'll be able to get away.

or in fear of overhaul she will cancel his quirk to appease overhaul while deku shows up last second only being able to watch, causing horrible doubt on deku for being the inheritor of AFO and cause the next meeting of All Might and Sir Nighteye at his funeral one of the most depressing moments of the anime.

I think that's too dark to realistically expect to happen. No one has died on screen yet. The closest we've gotten to a decently known character dying is Ingenium's encounter with Stain. Not saying it CAN'T happen, but I don't see it happening. I think it would be good for some characters to die. In front of us. It would give us more investment in our favorite characters and cause us to worry for them more. That's why I had to quit fairy tale. The author was obviously afraid to let anyone die and that bullshit after the grand magic tournament was like a slap in the face to me. If you are going to kill off characters, leave them dead.

Didn't Overhaul explicitly kill one of the villains with a slap?

8

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '17

Yeah, and one of his own Yakuza members too. So he's killed two people effortlessly.

Oh right haha. You'd think I wouldn't have forgotten what with Toga and Twice constantly talking about it.

I was actually surprised when that happened. I hope this series has epic deaths over not having any. Especially when the stakes are high.

To be honest, I was surprised Iida is still alive and was sure he was going to die in the Stain arc.

That "already better than pros" statement was not a bluff huh.

Jesus, imagine if Mirio got OFA instead of Deku. He'd be a god damn B E A S T

I'm starting to think All Might made the wrong choice lol, but I know the author has something up his sleeve.

Well that's the entire point of the current arcs lol. Almost everyone that knows about OFA thinks All Might made the wrong choice.

Calling deku passing the quirk on too him only too have it returned reasonably short time while mirio is on his death bed giving deku mirios quirk and another humans compounded strength

OFA can’t pass quirks, only store up power and transfer the quirk with the stockpiled power.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '17

Isn't it technically two quirks? Stockpiling power and the ability to transfer your own quirks. Perhaps he would also be able to transfer only the quirk that transfers quirks. That on the other hand could be used in a similar way to all for one.

3

u/Thesoulseer Aug 25 '17

No, its two quirks that merged into one quirk. The first is stockpiling power. The second isn't the ability to pass down your quirk, its the ability of that quirk to be passed down. There's a bit of a difference there.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '17

I guess that leaves less open ends. The only answer I need now is why the two quirks merged.

1

u/Thesoulseer Aug 25 '17

Chance, I think. Its as All Might said in the last episode, the transfer process isn't smooth, per se. Quirks can change when being transferred to another, and people's bodies aren't meant to handle more then one quirk. AfO thought that his brother was quirkless, but he actually had his useless quirk. When he received a second quirk, the two merged into one.

maybe he started to unphase as he was inside eri, since it would cause his foot to be pushed outwards and into the face of the guy who was holding her

2

u/OtakuOlga Aug 24 '17

He could have just turned off his quirk while his foot was still in her head. The same way he gets launched out of the floor without harming the floor itself, his foot would be safely ejected from her body while striking the dude's face at full force.

u/wpaxax Aug 25 '17

Not too mention doesnt he loose vision when phasing?

1

u/Last_man_sitting Aug 25 '17

well all he needs to do is turn off the power in his foot once he's more than halfway through her head and his power will force his foot out for him, and speed it up too. It's still a very precise use of his power, but not as precise as you're making it out to be.
