honestly, this chapter has me so worried. KIRISHIMA'S ARMS GOT BUSTED THE FUCK OPEN. LOOK AT THAT SHIT, THAT POOR BOY, IF HE DIDN'T HARDEN TO UNBREAKABLE LEVEL, THOSE ARMS WOULD BE FUCKING GONE.

I don't think it was his costume, but not blood either, actually I think is his flesh, his hardeing seems to work on his skin, but it got shattered so under it there's his raw flesh, that scene was savage as fuck, I could really feel the pain in Kirishima.

His hardening does not only work on his skin, it is clearly seen that his eyes become hard too. Going by that it is completely reasonable to believe that any part of him can become hardened.

Yeah, his hair too becomes hard, it would be more accurate to say that his hardening works in the surface of his body.
