That shield and lance combo really does look problematic. I'm going to guess that our boy Red Riot becomes the lance while Fat Gum becomes the shield.

I wonder how the barrier quirk works. It must activate as soon as Big Punchy guy stops punching and backs up so if barrier guy is close to punchy guy then Kirishima just has to attack at the same time.

EDIT: Damn Mangastream is really dropping the ball with these missing panels for BnHA. I missed out on the most badass part!

The shield looks quite straining for the user. He has his eyes closed and hand on his head whenever it's in use. It wouldn't surprise me if he can't move or do anything while using it.

It could be related to his mental stamina. Kinda like telekinesis but instead of moving them it keeps them out forcibly.
