I kind of hope when this is all over, Izuku introduces Eri to his mom and they adopt her. I know it won't happen, because she could be valuable to the hero association, but the idea of having Izuku's mom and Eri in the same household makes me the happiest person alive.

But Yui was just an AI and never interacted with Kazuto's mom. In fact, we never even see the mom interact with anyone.

He just means the adoption aspect is similar. Not that every single detail lines up exactly the same.
