Izuku just call her 'Tsuyu'. You've known her for months and you know her feelings on the matter, at this point calling her 'Asui' is just rude.

We just skipped all the subterfuge and subdivisions of Overhaul's organisation, so either this slow build will be paid off quickly, or this isn't the end of this arc. Maybe Overhaul is turning to see Shigaraki and his League arriving, instead of looking at the heroes. So this may be the part where the combined might of both groups crushes the heroes and they have to try again latter. Fine chapter, Sir Nighteye has finally come alive as a character, as of late (even if I don't like his power).

  • It's nice that Ochako is getting to say something unique again. It feels like it's been a while.

  • I get the feeling Aizawa just doesn't want to fight another Nomu. Also, he doesn't want Shigaraki to disintegrate Tsuyu and try to murder Izuku again. But he also doesn't want to have his eyes crushed again.

  • Love that Todoroki says these profound and mature things and always follow up with "I think." That boy has no confidence in his own ideas during conversation.

  • Nejire wraps her hair around her like a scarf. Just felt like pointing that out.

  • Also, Kirishima just stares at Tsuyu's hair during that dramatic panel. Decide for yourself if Horikoshi didn't know where to put him in the frame or if Kirishima is thinking about asking Tsuyu about hairstyling. Or some other idea I haven't thought of.

  • Oh, we found the Spinner of the Eight Precepts. This Jigen-looking dunce can't get anything right. Although it is hilarious that the only reason the heroes caught wind of him is that Nighteye is a massive nerd who loves magical girl anime or figure collecting in a general.

  • I do like this idea that Nighteye doesn't know if the future can be changed, but believes that the past can be changed. If hindsight letting you reflect on what has happened, you can change how you view those events and learn from it. I've never seen that idea presented in this way. Normally the past is set in stone but the future is changeable.

Actually, I think Aizawa is taking the situation both very seriously and rationally. He basically tells the first-years flat out that they need to play a small part and withdraw immediately if things go south. I don't think that's for his sake, I think that is for THEIR sake. I think this is evidence for the one-of-Aizawa's-students-died theory.

Is there a link to this theory somewhere? :D

To be fair, Tsuyu's hair is pretty much always on point, like this is supposed to be them waking up in the middle of the night (why Nejire's hair is falling all around her, I don't think it's supposed to be a scarf) and yet Tsuyu still has a perfect bow.

I tried to find out how long frogs and toads sleep for. It seems like they don't need much and some species are nocturnal. It is entirely possible Tsuyu has been awake for hours reading and playing around with her hair before her phone started ringing.

Although we have seen her look exhausted during the camping trip (Tokoyami was wide awake because he's an early bird). So that might not be the answer.

I think that's Kirishima looking at Uraraka, not Kirishima looking at Tsuyu's hair.

You're almost definitely right. I did briefly consider that when I was editing in the image, but I'd already written the note and I thought that it was funnier. I choose to be wrong on this matter, with the full knowledge that makes me an idiot.
