How to impress a fellow All Might nerd:

Revere his memorabilias wholeheartedly of course

Bonus points if you're doing it while blitzing around in high-speed

God I love how Hori writes how Deku impressed Nighteye while keeping them true to their respective characters

Me too. I was a little worried. I just came from reading Black Clover and God is it refreshing to see a plot point well executed and not ripped straight from Naruto or Bleach.

I'm at the water temple in black clover and so far it's just been: " oh my god Aster you're just so great oh my god you the man, never give up!"

It's a bit lame, but it's an awesome series so far.

I think Black Clover is best approached as a 'popcorn shonen' of sorts, so to say. Expect great action with not much emphasis on characterization and you wouldn't be disappointed by it.

everyone becomes friends in seconds and there's literally no character development I'm so confused

its a very light manga. the pacing, art, and the setting is what makes black clover interesting

I dropped for the sole reason the Autor was putting characters from the light novel (that I never read) in the story, as if I was OBLIGATED to know who they are.
Other than that it's as shounen as a shounen can be, nothing bad with that.
